Odesa received a set of modular diesel generator equipment with a capacity of 750 kW, which will help ensure stable power supply and maintain the operation of critical infrastructure in the city during power outages.

According to representatives of the Odesa city council, the backup power supply will enable municipal services to quickly respond to any emergency situations in the energy system.

The delivery of equipment from the capital of Finland became possible thanks to the joint efforts of Finnish and Ukrainian charitable organizations, volunteer movements, and local authorities. The delivery was organized with the personal support of Finnish volunteer Antti Salminen, as well as the NGO "Fund for the Development of Sports and Public Initiatives named after S. I. Urochkin" in partnership with the Department of Economic Development of the Odesa City Council.

In the Odesa region, 812 "Unbreakable Points" have been established, of which 458 are operating continuously. An additional 354 points have been put into a "ready-to-open" state and can be activated within two hours in the event of a critical situation.
