The infrastructure restoration service of Odesa region has announced four tenders for the installation of 39 mobile shelters at border crossings and access roads. The total cost of the purchases is almost 85 million hryvnias. The information was published on the electronic system Prozorro.

The largest tender — worth 26,8 million hryvnias — involves the construction of 12 primary mobile shelters. Four shelters for 20 people will be located at the "Reni - Jurjulesht" international border crossing, six at the approach section of the M-15 road between Odesa and Reni, and two more for 10 people — near the "Dolynske - Chishmikioy" border crossing.

The second tender for 24 million hryvnias involves the construction of 11 shelters. Eight shelters for 20 people will be located at the "Vinogradovka - Vulkanesti" and "Tabaki - Mirne" border crossings, as well as on the access roads to them. Three additional shelters for 10 people will be built in the area of the "Novy Troyany - Chadir-Lungа" border crossing.

The third tender, worth 15,6 million hryvnias, concerns eight shelters. One shelter for 20 people will be installed at the "Serpneve - Basarab'yaska" border crossing. The remaining seven are designed for 10 people: one each at the "Maloyaroslavets 1 - Chadir-Lung" and "Lisyne - Seits" border crossings, two each on the access roads to the "Maloyaroslavets First" and "Serpneve" border crossings, and one more on the section of the road between the "Lisyne" and "Maloyaroslavets First" border crossings. Three shelters are to be installed by December 31 2026, and five by February 1 2027.

The fourth tender, worth 18,3 million hryvnias, involves eight shelters with a capacity of 20 people each. Four of these will be located at the "Starokozache - Tudora" border crossing, while the other four will be on the approach section of road R-72 from the "Starokozache" border crossing to Belgorod-Dnistrovsky. The delivery has been divided into two stages: four shelters by December 31 2026 and four by February 1 2027.

For all four procurements, the delivery is planned to be carried out in two stages: part of the shelters will be installed by December 31 2026, and the rest – by February 1 2027. The shelters must provide protection for four hours, withstand impact, and protect against debris. Inside, there are designated seating areas, ventilation, lighting, electrical outlets, and electric heaters; water supply, sewage, and toilets are not included in the design.

The minimum shelter area for 10 people is 6 square meters, and for 20 people, it is 12 square meters. The protective properties must be verified through appropriate tests and documentation.
