Odesa region – among the leaders in land fee revenue in Ukraine
During the nine months of 2026 year, the Odesa region ranked third in Ukraine in terms of land tax revenue, generating 3,3 billion hryvnias for local budgets. The leaders are the Dnipropetrovsk region and Kyiv.
According to the results of nine months in 2026 year, the Odesa region entered the top three in terms of land tax revenue. According to information from the State Tax Service of Ukraine, the local budgets of the region received 3,3 billion hryvnias.
Larger amounts of revenue were recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk region – 6,7 billion hryvnias, and in Kyiv – 5,1 billion hryvnias. The Lviv region came in fourth with a figure of 2,8 billion hryvnias.
Land tax is a significant source of revenue for local budgets, with funds allocated to finance the needs of territorial communities. Land tax payers are landowners, plot owners (pаї), and those who use land on a permanent basis. Renters of state and municipal land pay rent according to the terms of use.
To verify the amount of land tax and obtain the payment details, you can do so through the Taxpayer's Online Cabinet or the "My Taxes" mobile application. If you disagree with the amount calculated, taxpayers have the right to contact the tax authorities to verify the data.
