Odesa court recovered more than 1,7 million UAH from "Chornomorets" for debts related to electricity.
The Economic Court of Odesa Oblast ordered the football club "Chornomorets" to pay Odesa Oblast Energy Supply Company more than 1,7 million UAH in debt for electricity, as well as 90 thousand UAH in inflationary losses and annual interest. The club partially paid for the consumed electricity in 2025 year, but the debt remained significant.
The Economic Court of Odesa Oblast ruled in favor of Odesa Oblast Energy Supply Company against FC "Chornomorets" regarding the recovery of debt for consumed electricity.
According to a court decision dated October 27, in the summer of 2025, the club "Chornomorets" joined a public contract for electricity supply. During the period from June to September, the club consumed 249,2 thousand kilowatt-hours of electricity, totaling 1 million 704 thousand 336 hryvnias. The club paid partially, paying 655 thousand hryvnias.
The court agreed with the arguments of the energy supply company that restructuring the implementation of the court decision does not absolve the debtor of responsibility for the overdue debt. In addition to the principal amount of the debt, "Chornomyrts" was also charged with over 90 thousand hryvnias in inflation losses and annual interest.
