A mural is being created in Odesa in honor of the Ukrainian Navy
A mural titled "Loyalty. Courage. Strength" will be created in Odesa, dedicated to the Ukrainian military sailors. The project is initiated by the "Modern Ukraine" Charitable Fund, with the support of local authorities and the command of the Ukrainian Navy. A postage stamp will be issued before the unveiling of the mural, and the proceeds from its sale will go to the needs of the Navy.
In Odesa, the creation of the mural "Loyalty. Courage. Strength," dedicated to the Ukrainian military sailors who protect the maritime borders and security of the Black Sea region, has begun. The project was initiated and organized by the "Modern Ukraine" Charitable Fund, with the support of local authorities and the command of the Ukrainian Navy.
The authors of the mural have reinterpreted the image of Neptune, the mythological ruler of the sea, as an embodiment of the strength, courage, and resilience of the Ukrainian defenders. According to the organizers, the mural will not only be a new artistic object in the urban space, but also a symbol of gratitude to the military sailors.
Before the official unveiling, the organizers plan to display only individual segments and images of the creation process. A postage stamp, created based on the mural, will also be issued. Stamps with the signature of Alexander Korban and the commanders of the Ukrainian Navy can be obtained through a charitable donation, with all funds going to the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Odesa mural will be the fourth work within the "Murals of Modern Ukraine" project, which was founded by the "Modern Ukraine" Charitable Foundation in 2022 year. Previously, murals in Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi were created at the initiative of the foundation, dedicated to the intelligence officers of the Main Intelligence Directorate and border guards. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the foundation has collected over 300 million hryvnias to help Ukrainian soldiers.
