Hunting has resumed in the Odesa region for the first time in four years. The decision was made by the Odesa Regional Military Administration (ОВА).
According to the OВА, hunting has been allowed due to the increase in the population of predators by 30%. Animals have begun to appear more frequently near settlements and farms, posing a threat to people and their property. In addition, the risks of the spread of rabies and avian influenza have increased.
With the necessary permits, hunters can hunt birds and ungulates, and from November – also fur-bearing animals.
